Description
- I have checked the FAQ for answers.
- I have checked the Changelog that the issue is not already fixed.
- I believe this issue is a bug, and not a general technical issue, question or feature requests that can be discussed on the forum.
Describe the bug
I'm not sure of the exact specifics, but if I have files in the playlist of different bit depths (16, and 24) then after the 16bit track stops playing and the next song in the playlist with a bit depth of 24 starts playing then loud static is heard over the music. If you click on the file by itself it plays as it should. This only happens with autoplay. I have tested this on 2 machines with the same results. I also observed that if a 24 bit track is played and then a 16bit track, then the 16 bit track will play very quietly.
To Reproduce
- Add at least 2 songs to the playlist, one 16 bit and then one 24 bit
- Click Play
- After the end of song one (16 bit file) song 2 (24 bit) should start with loud static
Expected behavior
The track plays without static as expected

System Information:
- Operating system: Arch Linux (6.17.9-2-cachyos)
- Strawberry Version: 1.2.15
Additional context
I tested the wavpack files for errors and even tried re-encoding which made no difference. The files aren't the issue.
