Pause Causes Runtime Error Later After Unpause

Describe the bug
I sometimes must pause audio playback when playing from my audio library. When I then unpause, I see a runtime error. This is version 1.2.10 running under the latest Debian.

To Reproduce
Start shuffled playback, pause playback for about twenty minutes, unpause to see a runtime error.

Expected behavior
Unpause resumes normal playback without runtime errors.

When I close Strawberry, relaunch it, playback works as expected.

Something is preventing strawberry from opening files. Check that the number of open files does not exceed the limitation on the system.
Check the soft and hard limit: ulimit -Sn and ulimit -Hn
When the isse occurs do: lsof | wc -l to check the number of open files.
Also ls -la /proc/$(pidof strawberry)/fd/ to check the number of files open by strawberry.
